About the Conference

Toxicology is the science of poisons and their effects, whether it is a drug/medicine, chemical, biological, radiation or other types of poisons. Those poisons can be harmful not only for the human body but for the environment too.

MENATOX conducts an annual Toxicology Conference in different countries in the Region. The Emergency Medicine Council with sponsorship of the Kuwait Ministry of Health will be hosting the 8th MENATOX conference, the first of its kind in Kuwait, bringing people from different health institutions in Kuwait and connecting them with the experts from the GCC countries and from the countries of the developed world under one platform.

The conference is an important opportunity for many members of various medical specialties such as Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, Pediatrics, etc. It aims to start awareness and education of all Toxicology emergencies and propel forward the concept of establishing a Poison Control Center in Kuwait in the near future.

The 4-day program combines a thought provoking and challenging Scientific Program featuring lectures and workshops by more than 50 speakers from the Region and the world. We expect 250+ attendees including 80+ medical professionals from the MENA Region.
